Resolving Contract Disputes
When you enter a contract, you expect each party to hold up their end of the bargain. When a party fails to perform or pay under the contract, or there is a dispute over the terms of the agreement, you need an attorney to advise you on your options and help you pursue a resolution that meets your business needs.
At Martin, Leyhe, Stuckmeyer & Associates LLC, we provide cost-effective solutions to contract disputes for individuals and businesses in Missouri. Call 636-487-4097 for legal counsel dedicated to resolving your dispute in a cost-effective manner that protects your interests. Based in St. Charles, we serve clients throughout the St. Louis area.
What Type Of Contract Issue Are You Facing?
There are two significant types of contract disputes: Actions for failure to perform and actions for failure to pay. We can help you pursue damages from clients or customers who have failed to pay for your goods or services. We can also help you pursue injunctive relief through a temporary restraining order (TRO) where the other party has not performed. For example, if you have a contract with someone to deliver goods to you and they fail to deliver, a TRO can keep that person from selling the goods to another buyer.
We have experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in all types of contract disputes, including those involving:
- Real estate issues, including construction defects, disputes with real estate agents and purchase-sale contract disputes
- Lease disputes and evictions, where we help landlords protect their rights in eviction proceedings
- Employment contracts such as noncompete clauses and confidentiality agreements
- Other types of contracts, including sales commission contracts and vendor contracts
